When I first sat in meditation with oatstraw, the first thing that came to me was, "Baby butts!" Oatstraw is gentle and smoothe, perfect for babies and mothers. It is also a nutrition powerhourse, so amazing for postpartum ingestion and while breastfeeding, when you need even more calories than while you were pregnant! (Indeed, oatstraw is one of the classic galactagogues, meaning it has been used for hundreds of years to help mothers make milk.)
